Popular ‘Winter School’ Series for Forest Landowners Kicks Off Next Week

WSU Extension and DNR are partnering to offer three seminars on forest health, wildlife habitat, fire risk reduction, and more.

 
Forest landowners from across Washington will have a trio of opportunities over the two months to spend a day learning a myriad of ways to restore or maintain the health of their forests.
 
Winter School events will take place at the following times and locations; click on the links below for more information about individual events:
Participants at each event will be able to attend multiple presentations on topics related to forest health, wildfire, wildlife, soils and roads, forest management plans, and more.
 
All three locations will also have exhibit spaces featuring offerings from partner organizations with products and services available to help forest landowners achieve their land management goals.
 
Registration for Winter School sessions costs between $20-40 for individuals and $30-50 for families, with discounts available for early registrants. Lunch may be available for an additional fee.
 
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources and Washington State University Extension work in partnership to put on the Winter School program.
