The Blanchard Forest Advisory Committee (BFAC) was established in 2007 as a community-based entity with the purpose of advising DNR on site specific activities related to the implementation of the Blanchard Forest Management Strategies. BFAC assists DNR operational decision making with recommendations for management of Blanchard Forest. The committee is comprised of 13 members and meets 2-3 times per year.

The Blanchard Management Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding grants the committee its authority.
