Proposed Bucklin Hill Exchange (Exchange 86-099534)

DNR proposes to exchange one 27-acre parcel of Common School Trust land in Kitsap County for a 1.5-acre parcel of privately owned commercial property in Snohomish County. The Snohomish County parcel is leased to Bartell Drug in Arlington, and would provide income for the Common School trust, which funds K-12 school construction across the state. DNR would dispose of a property in Sliverdale that is zoned for resedential use and is currently not producing revenue for the Common School trust.
Properties proposed for exchange are located in Kitsap and Snohomish Counties.
Public Hearing — September 12, 2019
DNR will hold a public hearing starting at 6 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Kitsap Mall Community Partner Room, 10315 Silverdale, WA 98686. The purpose of the hearing is to provide information and receive public testimony on the proposed Bucklin Hill Exchange.
