The Forest Practices Adaptive Management Program was created to provide science-based recommendations and technical information to help the Forest Practices Board determine if and when it is necessary or advisable to adjust its rules and guidance for aquatic resources The Forest Practices Board may also use the Adaptive Management program to adjust other rules and guidance.

Contracting with the Adaptive Management Program

The Adaptive Management Program frequently contracts for environmental research and monitoring projects. These solicitations are usually in the form of a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a Request for Qualifications/Quotations (RFQQ. Register to receive bid notices through Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS), the single source for all procurement notices for the state of Washington. All companies, especially woman and minority-owned businesses, are encouraged to compete for business with the state of Washington.
