Aerial Herbicide Application Working Group
The Washington State Legislature convened an Aerial Herbicide Application Working Group with the passage of Substitute Senate Bill 5597 during its 2019 session.
The Legislature tasked the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington State Department of Agriculture to collaboratively lead the workgroup, which will review the best practices of aerial application of herbicides on forestland across the state.
A report including findings and recommendations was submitted to the Governor's Office and the Legislature on Dec. 31, 2019. The report is available here.
