Timber Auction Packets
The Department of Natural Resources holds timber auctions monthly at Region Offices. Auctions generally take place on the last Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each month (see the Timber Auction Dates page for complete schedule). Bids must be received before the bid box is closed (see Auction Bidding Procedures and Forms for more information). Results and Bid Records will be post to the Auction Results page.

Contract Harvest Bid Packets
DNR hires contractors to harvest and deliver log sorts from Contract Harvesting sales, including forest improvement treatment projects. Harvesters must pre-qualify to become an eligible bidder in the qualified bidder pool. Information regarding specific harvesting contracts is found in Harvester Bid Packets on the Current Bid Opportunities page, linked below. Eligible bidders will be notified of new projects. Timber sales that did not receive bids at auction are now available at minimum bid value.
