Green Dot Road Update Meeting to be Rescheduled for Later Date
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will postpone a stakeholder meeting regarding the Ahtanum State Forest Green Dot road system originally scheduled for April 15.
To comply with social distancing and promote the health and safety of the public and DNR staff, the meeting will be postponed to a later date.
DNR would like to engage in a conversation around the challenges the agency is faced with in managing Green Dot road access in the Ahtanum State Forest and engage the public in determining actions that will provide access for the future.
The intended outcomes of the meeting will be:
  • Provide updates and background on the Ahtanum State Forest Recreation Plan
  • Envision what sustainable access could look like in the next 25 years
  • Determine ways, and who is positioned, to help DNR maintain quality user accessibility to this landscape.
