Pick-up the Burn Work Party

8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Join volunteers from a variety of recreation interests, including hiking, biking, equestrian, and motorized, to help improve the Yacolt Burn State Forest by picking up litter, performing general maintenance, and improving recreation sites. Work is available for all ages and skill levels. Check out the event flyer here.
 
Registration begins at 8 a.m.
Safety briefing begins at 9 a.m.
 
What to bring
Please bring gloves, weather-appropriate work clothes, and plenty of water. Dogs are welcome but must stay leashed.
 
Directions
Meet at the Jones Creek ORV Trailhead. From northbound or southbound I-5, take I-205 exit toward Vancouver, WA. Take Highway 500 East (Exit 30-Orchards Exit). Go east on Highway 500 to Fourth Plain (1st light) and turn right to continue on Highway 500 East. Go 6.3 miles, then turn left on 53rd Street. Go 3.2 miles and turn left onto Ireland Road. Go .3 miles and turn left on Lessard Road. Continue on Lessard Road as it turns into Boulder Road for four miles. Veer left at the fork, and proceed toward the parking lot/staging area. Directions
