Due to an abundance of caution over health concerns this event has been canceled. We look forward to seeing everyone at this event next year.
 
We’re all united in recreation — no matter what that looks like to you. So join us. Come together with your fellow adventurers to give back, have fun, and support Capitol Forest at the 15th-Annual Great Gravel Pack-In. Help spread gravel, repair trails, improve the Mima Falls Trailhead and make new friends while you’re at it. Get the flyer here. 
 
SCHEDULE
8 AM Registration and coffee
9 AM Safety briefing and breakouts for work assignments Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
 
WHAT TO BRING 
Bring work gloves and raingear. Lunch will be provided thanks to the Back County Horsemen of Washington (BCHW) Pierce County Chapter. 
 
ACTIVITIES
Spread gravel and repair trail tread near new trail bridges and improve Mima Falls trailhead. 
 
DIRECTIONS
From I-5 Exit 95, turn onto WA-121 / Maytown Rd SW going west towards Littlerock 3.6 mi. 
Turn left onto Mima Rd SW, 1.3 mi. 
Turn right onto Bordeaux Rd SW, 0.7 mi.
Turn right onto Marksman St SW, 0.7 mi. 
Arrive at Mima Falls Trailhead near 12736 Marksman St SW, Olympia, WA 98512.

PACK STOCK
Stock animals must be pre-approved prior to the day of the event. For more details, contact: Ed Haefliger, 360-427-4297 or edsueh@msn.com
 
NO DOGS
For the safety of horses and pack stock, please leave dogs at home.
 
DISCOVER PASS
This is a Discover Pass required area. However, volunteers will be issued a complimentary day-use pass for this event. Volunteers may also earn vouchers toward their 24 hours needed for a complimentary Discover Pass, good for one year. Learn more about the Discover Pass at www.discoverpass.wa.gov.
