Proposed Dry Hill Exchange
DNR proposes to exchange one 312-acre parcel of Common School Trust forest land in Grays Harbor County for one 61-acre parcel of provately-owned forest land in Clallam County. The Clallam County parcel would provide permanent, all-purpose access to DNR's Dry Hill block, and reduce the risk of uses on the property that would not be comptible with commercial foresty. DNR would dispose of an isolated property in Grays Harbor County that has been harvested.
Properties proposed for exchange are located in Clallam and Grays Harbor counties.
DNR will hold a public hearing starting at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Aberdeen High School, 410 North G Street, Aberdeen WA 98520. The purpose of the hearing is to provide information and receive public testimony on the proposed Dry Hill Exchange.
