South Nemah NRCA Vegetation 

This area is highly regarded as one of the last small uncut drainages in the Willapa Hills.  Comprising 2,440 acres, it contains patches of 300-year old western red cedar and Sitka spruce and habitat for marbled murrelets and spotted owls.  Elk and deer trails cross the site, and the South and Middle Nemah River supports fish and amphibian populations.  The site is used extensively as an outdoor environmental education classroom.  (Pacific County)
