Stevenson Ridge Natural Resources Conservation Area
   

Stevenson Ridge NRCA includes structurally complex, old-growth conifer forest that serves as nesting habitat for the northern spotted owl, federally listed as “endangered.”
 
Features Protected: northern spotted owl, North Pacific Maritime Dry-Mesic Douglas fir-Western Hemlock Forest
Ecoregion: West Cascades (Skamania County)

Public and private universities, other research institutions and individual researchers may contact DNR to propose a research project at the site.
