Public meeting May 8 on design concepts for Secret Harbor public access and environmental education
Comments welcomed until May 31, 2012
OLYMPIA – The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold a public meeting to introduce a project at Secret Harbor and receive public ideas and concerns regarding design concepts.

Why: | Public Participation in Design The project area is located at the south end of Cypress Island and encompasses property previously owned and operated by the Secret Harbor School—an area with limited public access and environmental education opportunities. DNR welcomes information and ideas from the public about the design of this project. Following an overview, DNR will answer questions about the proposal and receive public input on design concepts. A fact sheet about the proposal is on DNR’s website. www.dnr.wa.gov. Written comments about the project will be welcomed until close of business on May 31, 2012.
