DNR Fire Information
DNR is the state’s largest on-call fire department with 1,200 temporary and permanent employees who fight fires on about 12.7 million acres of non-federal (private, state-owned and tribal) forest lands. DNR offers local fire districts support with fire protection and safety equipment requirements.
