Commissioner Goldmark to visit Taylor Bridge Fire
60 structures lost in fast moving fire

OLYMPIA – This afternoon the Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark will be on scene to assess the damages of the Taylor Bridge Wildfire near Cle Elum. This wildfire started yesterday afternoon and quickly grew to 20,000 plus acres.

 Who: Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark
 What: Commissioner will receive first-hand briefing on Taylor Bridge fire, tour the fire line, meet with evacuees.
 When: Media availability after 4:30 p.m.

 Where:  

 

 Base Camp – Cle Elum Middle School
 2694 Street Route 903
 Cle Elum, WA  98922
 Why: To assess damages from and response to the wildfire

Directions and web link:
From I-90 East or I-90 West, take Exit 80, Bullfrog Road. Turn right off of the exit and go to the second roundabout. Take a right at the Shell Station and travel ½ mile. Cle Elum Middle School is on the right.
