Yacolt Burn State Forest repair work will affect recreation access through summer
Wait times of up to 30 minutes may be expected at times
OLYMPIA – The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is conducting chip seal and pavement repair on two forest roads in the Yacolt Burn State Forest. During the chip seal and pavement repair project, there will be one lane open with flaggers directing traffic. Periodically, there will be complete road closures with waits no longer than 30 minutes.

Where: | L-1000 and L-1400 roads, Yacolt Burn State Forest. Recreation sites that may be affected by delays include the Rock Creek and Cold Creek campgrounds, along with the Bells Mountain and Tarbell trail. The road work will also delay traffic going to Larch Correctional Center. |

The Yacolt Burn State Forest, located north of Washougal/Camas, Washington, contains 90,000 acres of forestland and is a popular recreation area for visitors from the Portland/Vancouver areas.
