OLYMPIA – Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark will welcome Governor Chris Gregoire as she takes the State Firefighters’ Work Capacity Test on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 7:30 a.m.

Governor Gregoire will complete the Work Capacity Test and fire shelter training requirements. Commissioner Goldmark, as the head of the State’s wild land firefighting agency will welcome the Governor and members of the press. 

When:  May 31st from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Where:  Chehalis Western Trail at Woodard Bay
Olympia, Washington

Directions from I-5 Northbound:
Take Exit 108B, Sleater Kinney Rd. northbound; follow the signs to Sleater Kinney Road.
Sleater Kinney Road NE becomes 56th Avenue NE when you make a corner to the left.
Turn right on Schinke Road NE.
The parking area is about one mile on the right.

Directions from I-5 Southbound:
Take Exit 109, Martin Way Road NE.
Turn right on Martin Way Road NE, then right again on Sleater Kinney Road NE.
Sleater Kinney Road NE becomes 56th Avenue NE when you make a corner to the left.
Turn right on Schinke Road NE.
The parking area is about one mile on the right.
