Forest Practices GIS Spatial Data Sets
The Forest Practices Division develops and maintains data and software programs in order to support our mission to protect public resources while maintaining a viable timber industry.
Our spatial datasets are available in ArcInfo export format (zipped .e00). All spatial datasets are in Washington Coordinate System of 1983, South Zone, NAD83 (1991), unless otherwise noted. Data documentation (metadata) are in either HTML or text format.
If you can not find the data that you are looking for here, please check the DNR GIS Data page to order other DNR GIS data.
Please note that our data sets, while available free of charge, are covered by a data license agreement. When you choose to download a data file, read the popup agreement carefully. By downloading our data, you agree to abide by the agreement's terms and conditions.
If you have questions concerning a particular data set, please contact the data steward (listed in the data documentation) directly. If you have other questions about Forest Practices' data or software, please contact the Forest Practices Help Desk at fpars-admin@dnr.wa.gov.
Note: Errors in data are inevitable. While we do our best to produce the best data possible, you may find a problem that we overlooked. Please report errors to the appropriate data steward as listed in the data documentation for each dataset.
Disable popup blocking software before downloading data. See our guide on how to disable popup blockers (PDF 104KB).
