Comment period extended for proposed Ice Harbor trust land exchange
OLYMPIA –The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has extended the public comment period for a proposal to exchange a parcel of state trust land in Chelan County for a privately owned parcel in Franklin County.
Public input at a hearing on the matter on Nov. 5, 2009, in Wenatchee prompted DNR to extend the comment deadline for an additional four weeks.
All written testimony concerning this proposed exchange must be received by Friday, December 18, 2009, and addressed to the:

DNR has proposed exchanging approximately 569 acres of state agricultural trust land in Chelan County for approximately 265 acres of agricultural land in Franklin County owned by Stemilt Growers, Inc..
