Do you own forestland?  Need help dealing with diseased trees? Want to reduce wildfire risks?

The Washington State Department of Natural Resources has a new cost-share program to help forestland owners improve forest health.

If you own forestland in Chelan, Kittitas, Klickitat, or Yakima counties, you may qualify to get reimbursed for up to half of your cost to thin and prune trees, and remove forest slash from your property.
