Auction of state trust land in Okanogan County scheduled for August 22, 2012
Five parcels of land to be offered at public auction in Okanogan
OLYMPIA – The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will offer five parcels of state trust land in Okanogan County to the highest bidders at a public auction.

| When: | Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 10:30 a.m. (Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.) |

| County Commissioner’s Hearing Room, Virginia Grainger Administration Building, 123 Fifth Avenue North, Okanogan, WA 98840 |
Why: | When lands are not appropriate for DNR management, the department will auction the lands into the private sector. DNR will use the auction proceeds to purchase other properties more suitable for long-term income to state trust beneficiaries including Common Schools and state universities. |
