State Board of Natural Resources March meeting
Commissioner Peter Goldmark intends to adjourn March 6 meeting until March 16
OLYMPIA – Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark intends to adjourn the March 6, 2012, meeting of the Board of Natural Resources and reconvene the meeting the following week.
The procedure is intended to ensure informational materials are available to the Board when it reconvenes on March 16.

The board holds regular meetings as required by state law RCW 43.30.225. The six-member board, which represents beneficiaries of state trusts, requires four members in attendance to establish a quorum for making decisions about the management of state trust lands and resources. The Board of Natural Resources is chaired by Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark, the statewide elected official who administers DNR. Board members represent public schools, counties, universities, and other public institutions that benefit from revenue produced from DNR’s management of state trust lands.
