Public hearing on the increased burn permit fee
Comments welcomed until October 31
OLYMPIA – The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold two public hearings in October. DNR is revising the fee for a silvicultural burn permit (generally, the burning of forest debris after a timber harvest). The fee change is planned to go into effect January 1, 2012. Hearing dates and locations are:
Public Hearing in Olympia
Time & Date: 1:00 p.m., October 28, 2011
Location: Room 172, Natural Resources Building, 1111 Washington Street S.E., Olympia, WA
Public Hearing in Colville
Time & Date: 1:00 p.m., October 31, 2011
Location: Dominion Room, Institute for Extended Learning, Colville Center, 985 S. Elm, Colville, WA
