Commissioner Peter Goldmark intends to adjourn October 4 meeting until October 10 due to lack of quorum
OLYMPIA – Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark intends to adjourn the October 4 meeting of the Board of Natural Resources due to lack of a quorum, and reconvene the meeting the following week.

The board holds regular meetings as required by state law RCW 43.30.225. The six-member board, which represents beneficiaries of state trusts, requires four members in attendance to establish a quorum for making decisions about the management of state trust lands and resources. The Board of Natural Resources is chaired by Commissioner of Public Lands Peter Goldmark, the statewide elected official who administers DNR. Board members represent public schools, counties, universities, and other public institutions that benefit from revenue produced from state trust lands.
