DNR is proposing to exchange an agriculture parcel that it has managed for many years for K-12 school construction revenue but which is now in the path of urban development. In exchange the City of Pasco is offering a portion of a city-owned farm property used to support the Process Water Reuse Facility.

A formal public hearing for interested parties to give testimony about the proposal will be held after the proposal is more fully developed. The final decision will be made by the Pasco City Council and the Board of Natural Resources.
