Western Washington Family Forest Owners Field Day
July 31 - August 1, 2009

Whether you own a “home in the woods” or many acres of forest land, this out-in-the-woods educational event is packed with practical “how-to” information that you need to know! The event starts Friday afternoon, July 31 and goes all day Saturday, August 1. Participants can attend one or both days for just one admission fee.

• Gates open Friday at noon, Saturday at 8 am.
• Presentations:
Friday, July 31, at 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm, and
Saturday, August 1, at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.
About the Site
• Parking at field day site.
• Portable restrooms, coffee, refreshments, and drinking water are available on-site.
• Seating provided at presentation stations and lunch area.
• Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
• There will be vendors and displays.
• Walking short distances over nearly-level forested terrain is required.
Lunch (Saturday only)
• On-site BBQ lunch to benefit the Future Farmers of America $9. (Must be ordered by July 23.)
Directions
• From I-5 Exit 232 travel 4 miles west to SR20, in Sedro Woolley. Follow SR20 east for 16 miles to Lusk Road. Turn south on Lusk Road for 0.2 miles to Field Day Site on east side of road. Watch for large yellow “Forest Owners Field Day” signs along the route.
