Niawiakum River NAP

This 838-acre preserve is an unusually high quality, intact tidal river system that contains some of the highest quality salt marsh vegetation remaining in Willapa Bay and some of the best along the entire Washington/Oregon coast.  The diverse habitats support a wide variety of wildlife, including Bald Eagles, a federally threatened species, great blue herons, elk, kingfishers and many others.  (Pacific County)
