Charley Creek NAP
Charley Creek NAP

Charley Creek NAP is located about seven miles northeast of Enumclaw, in the City of Tacoma's watershed.  The original or native growth forest land is undisturbed by human activity such as harvesting, or natural occurrences such as fire.  Tree stands of 110 to 145 years old dominate the site, which also has its original ecosystem (plant associations and communities).  For the northern spotted owl, the site provides dispersal habitat for hunting and potential nesting.
