Located in the Wenatchee mountains of north-central Washington, this 1,337-acre preserve contains the largest known populations of a state Threatened plant species and a state Endangered plant species. These two plant species are known to exist only within (i.e. are "endemic" to) a portion of the Wenatchee mountains. The preserve is made up of lush meadows dotted with aspen groves and surrounded by ponderosa pine and fir forests. A Camas Meadows NAP Brochure is available online. (Chelan County)
