Welcome to the Financial Management Division. We support DNR’s financial health by accounting for all of its revenues, expenditures, and payroll; reporting financial data; setting and implementing fiscal policy and procedures; and managing contracts, grants, and interagency payments. We handle all of DNR’s key accounting functions.
Our division provides inventory, purchasing, and warehouse management for DNR’s Natural Resources Equipment Fund — the program that maintains and replaces agency equipment. Our risk-management responsibilities include managing insurance policies, handling tort claims and vehicle accident reports, and reducing risks for a workforce that is stationed in every county of the state and works in all types of weather and terrain.
